Richard Linowes

     
Professor Linowes holds a D.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an M.S. in Computer and Communication Sciences from University of Michigan and an A.B. in Cybernetics from Princeton University (1973). An expert in Management Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Richard Linowes currently teaches business administration at American University, Washington, D.C.

A Fulbright scholar, professor Linowes is the author of several books and other publications; i.e. a series of 3 books “Portraits of Business Practices in Emerging Markets” by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Mr. Linowes has taught at various other universities: Israel School of International Management and Innovation (ISEMI); University of Warsaw; American University Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

His professional experience includes work with: the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Brookings Institution, Coopers & Lybrand, Glaxo Inc. Professor Linowes brings to the company a breadth of academic expertise; courses taught include: Business Policy and Strategy, Quality Management (with the former Director of National Quality Awards Programs of the Department of Commerce), Applied Strategic Management in a Global Environment. Mr. Linowes has served as the Director (1994 – 1998) of the Harvard Club at the National Press Club.
